I kind of wish there were more rainbow yarn projects, whether its clothes or amigurumi.

I used rainbow yarn once, but the colors didn’t lay in a pleasing manner and it made me sad. I think that’s why most people shy away from it. its almost easier if you want to do rainbow, to just have all the seperate yarns and color change when you want to. which is also a hassle.

I feel like amigurumi with chunky yarn and a big hook will become less popular, and like small hook and thin chenille yarn will becaome trendy (like @binka’s recent style)
I also think crocheting aesthetic wearables will be popular

Less chenille and less amigurumi. It has been rlly popular for a long time(dont get me wrong i love a good plush but i dont mainly make plushes) and i feel like maybe people are getting bored of them
. I also think people are going to start making bigger projects more often if amigurumi leaves the chat.
