From what Ik (cuz my mom’s allergic) no cats r compleatly hypoallergenic cuz it’s not the fur but the allergens in its saliva and sebasious glands. All cats also groom themselves spreading the allergens everywhere around them.

Yh ik. Hypoallergenic cats have less of the chemicals that ppl are allergic to. Take for example a Siberian cat. They are hypoallergenic but are among the most long haired cat breeds. There is the misconception that hypoallergenic cats have to have no/short fur like a sphynx cat but actually they don’t have to be!

My dad is allergic and we have had 2 allergic free cats one Sibirien and one Sibirien/raggdoll and it works for us
