As the title says, I’m offering a little piece of advice and motivation for art.
There’s no “proper” way to do art. There may be certain proper techniques to achieve what you want, but no “proper” way to do art.
So don’t be discouraged if your ways are a little different from everyone else’s! My ways of making dragon puppets and sewing are a little unconventional as well.
There’s no proper finished piece, either. You can make your art as silly, weird, realistic, cool, cute, or hilarious as you want! Unless you’re doing a commission or birthday present or something public, your opinion is the one that matters.
One important thing, though, is that your art isn’t offensive or inappropriate. I believe art should be fun and safe. However, if someone is being biased or rude about your art, don’t be discouraged! They don’t have to like your own piece. Just make sure that the person you are giving it to (if you are giving away the piece) likes it.
That’s my opinion on art. It’s a unique thing, and there are so many forms of it! Anyway, have a nice day and keep crafting!
