I am finally back from my holiday to Paris, and let me tell you, it was amazing! I’m not going to get into it in detail right now, because I have a lot of things I want to talk about and I want to keep this topic somewhat manageable :laughing: Edit: I failed miserably hahaha

Crochet updates

I recently have been doing a lot of projects just for myself, because it felt like I really need it. It probably has to do with a lot of factors, but a big one beeing school and our mentor completely working me into a motivation dip. I got very good news about school a few days ago, so it has been way better and my market prep and pattern designing motivation is fully back again!

Anyways, what I’ve been making during my holiday (yeah my status has been quite accurate :sweat_smile:)

Today is my first ribblrversairy! I started Ribblr because I was looking for a free pattern and I obviously could not resist making an account on a platform with this many. Little did I know it would end up with a Regular status on the community page!

So thank you so much to all of my friends and everyone in lounge chat I’ve been chatting with! Due to my complex social background you mean so incredibly much to me :sparkling_heart:

I hit 3.5K shop followers a few days ago :O I can’t believe that I did this in only a few months… If you would’ve told Anna this on March 1st 2026 who was thinking she would stay in the void with all these amazing designers around her, or while having a mental breakdown right before posting her first tester call for Nyx the dragon because she thought no one would like her patterns, she would have never have believed you!

Hehe and I also finally got my 200 day streak milestone a few days ago! Can´t believe I stayed consistent for 200 days straight without needing gems :melting_face:

So yeah, I think this should definetely be celebrated with a giveaway. The only thing is, I don’t know what to give away, since I don’t have the time to do any custom patterns… I have come a long way, but thanks to you guys, I am here and the happiest I can imagine. So if you have any ideas for a giveaway, please let me know in the comments :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Edit: here are some ideas I thought of!

  • priority testing
  • early access to a new pattern
  • you mentioned you have 3 patterns ready to be tested, maybe getting to pick which one is 1st to test and release?
  • naming one of your next patterns (within reason ofc)

Congratulations on everything. You were certainly busy during your vacation. Love the mushroom sprites. If my daughter sees them, she will want one. Her obsessions are mushrooms and snakes.

I recently realised how spoiled I am by your dragon patterns. I was looking for realistic cat/dog patterns and couldn’t find anything that satisfied me. The shaping was so bad compared to your designs!

Thank you! The patterns came to be because I was looking for free patterns like these that were not stolen, and couldn’t find them, so I was like let’s provide the internet with them then

Well if you ever intend to branch out to basically every other kind of animal…I’m here for it​:sweat_smile: And I’m sure I’m not the only one who would pay for that as well (as realistic patterns will most likely take much longer then more reduced shapes, like round or loaf animals)

Until then I’ll just make more of your dragons. More dragons more good​:grin:
