ADAM UPDATE! Now with FREE PDF on my ADAM UP Amigurumi Calculator: Crochet pattern | Ribblr

HEY GUYS - EXCITING ADAM-UP-DATE!

I’ve been reading posts and comments about people wanting designers to say if they offer PDF download versions of their @ribblr e-patterns in their pattern listing etc…

Well as I already offer this on all the other platforms I already sell on, I kind of feel that people should be getting a service from me on here that is comparable to, or better than other platforms. So I already have pattern shops on Ravelry, Lovecrafts, Etsy and Payhip (user name Hookanory, or Hookanory Crochet Club depending on the platform) where paid patterns are downloadable.

So I’m adding them here too starting with Adam Up - Amigurumi Calculator Desk buddy !

I have just added the full fancy-pants designed PDF to go with the interactive Ribblr e-pattern so anyone who has already bought a copy will automatically get that update for free and any new customers can find it in the first part of the pattern instructions.

My patterns are fully tested, and include detailed instructions regarding yarn requirements, materials, equipment, gauge, hints and tips, assembly instructions and plenty of tutorial photos and other resources. So from now on where a pattern has already been published elsewhere with a PDF, I will include this in my Ribblr listings. Where the pattern has been created in Ribblr for example my YAY! Con-Text Granny Square (see tester call in tester zone) but has for example a graph or chart I am including a PDF version of the chart along with a PDF colour block chart, and will add any additional PDFs as and when they are published elsewhere, which will automatically be updated for Ribblr customers.

Happy hooking ! xxx Love Deb @Hookanory

How do you add pdfs to ribblr? I usually make pdfs of my patterns as well.

There’s an option in the media upload menu (… to the right of each line in a pattern) you just choose thecfolder icon and upload xxx

it’s only fair I reckon, lol . As I’m learning how to use the platform I’m improving my listings and thinking how I can add value to my patterns and hopefully encourage new people to try @ribblr because I think it’s got so much awesome potential but a lot of more long term crocheters are put off by the lack of pdf and buy elsewhere instead. I know the whole concept is different here and designer protection is great, but I’m publishing downloadable pdfs anyway on other platforms so (unless I get any real issues with copyright infringement then) I just want to make the buyer experience as accessible and exciting as possible because the community here is really great and so many fun features…I mean why do I even care if I feed ribbot or not? I can’t use the spin the wheel codes mostly anyway cos I’m in the uk but who cares…I just wanna feed that purple frog!
