Testers were still able to apply after I closed the call by adding Closed to the title, is there any special format, like all lowercase or did I do something wrong? I felt bad because I already had more testers than I originally thought I would when I closed it.
Would it be possible to add a close option in the topic control drop down for the author of the topic?
adding âclosedâ to a tester call will alert a leader to come close it manually, only leaders and the team can close a topic.
But if it is getting bad, you can edit your post to remove the link to the testing pattern.
Hope that helps
Iâm sorry, adding âclosedâ to any title, not just a tester call will alert them.
I edited the title and tags for you, a leader should close this and your tester call soon.
Thank you so much for the clarification. I still think that we should be able to close our own posts though, seems like extra work for the leaders for no go reason.
I think the community feed would turn into a giant trash heap if that were the case, I think itâs better that you have to think about it before you make a post, because you canât take it back.
And I think they have a search and mass action function to make a clean sweep several times a day.
Well thatâs not what happened because two more people applied after I changed it but I did put Closed instead of closed, hence my question about whether it was case sensitive
Can you please check my post? I donât know if it tracks those things? But I âClosed:â the post first, then accepted the five testers then within 30mins or so 2 more people had applied
