Any Driving/Test tips?

Hello! I have my 15th birthday soon and going to the DMV to take my written test for my permit(:us_outlying_islands:) and I am super nervous :downcast_face_with_sweat:. Does anyone have any general driving tips or testing tips? I’ve been super nervous and anxious. I’ve been doing the practice questions but its very mixed on my results. (I’ve gotten a 90 and then a 40 back to back) Any feedback is appreciated. Also I may or may not be brainstorming a seat cover for a car seat soon  Also, I didn’t exactly know where to put this bc I see arguments for a few areas, but please don’t move it to the teen area. I am looking for people who are able to drive advice on this. Thanks! Have a good day!!

UPDATE: I PASSED!!! I HAVE MY LEARNERS PERMIT NOW!

Study hard and practice with licensed drivers! I know that might be what your already doing, but it’s important you are very aware of your surroundings and focus on what your actually doing. The fact your nervous is a good thing, if you were not nervous, that would be concerning- Lol-

Good luck Rae! I don’t have any advice since I haven’t taken the test yet lol

Read this after I moved it

Pretty sure this is fine though, since it’s not craft-related at all, therefore it should be in Personal spaces :bust_in_silhouette:. This will allow adults/people who can drive already to see it, without clogging up the feeds of people who only want to see posts about crafting.

Lol, its fine, its already been moved twice,. Ngl, I dont really care where it resides as long as its not the teen area. I’ve had 99% of my posts moved to the teen area, even if they were crochet related. I just wanted more adult feedback since adults dont really hang out in the teen group

Been there, done that. Took the permit test online. Make sure you know what to do at a 4-way stop, what all sorts of road signs mean, and there’s a lot of what I will call ā€œunimportantā€ things on there. The legal blood alcohol content, what age, weight, and height a child must be to sit in the front passenger seat, and what car seats are appropriate for what age child. You got this, good luck!

I would just keep doing practice questions over and over again until you get high scores every time. That’s what I did and I passed first try because a lot of the questions were the same. Good luck, I know you’re gonna do great!

So ik I’m a teen, but I have my permit right now and I’m planning to do my test for the driver’s license soon. I got my permit in January of this year.

The permit test was a lot of common sense. There’s this Quizlet set I used to study that had most of the questions on it. I can’t find it right now, but a lot of quizlets have questions similar to the permit test. Also reading the driver’s handbook is a good idea since you’ll be tested on that for both the permit test and during the driving exam.
The hardest thing about the permit test is that the wording can be confusing and it looks like there could be two right answers sometimes

As for actual driving, work up to it. You don’t want to drive on things your not comfortable at the start. Start with residential areas first and work from there.

Hope this helps! And good luck!
And I still remember some of the questions if you want to know? Altho we prolly live in different states so the tests would be different.
