Any good knitting patterns for beginners?

Hi there! So I just started knitting a couple weeks ago and so far I’ve made a bunch of mini scarves for some bears that I made (pattern is from chubbiesbyash)! I was wondering if anyone here has any good patterns that would be suitable for beginners. so far the only things I know are garter stitch and stockinette stitch, but if the pattern you send includes different stitches, that is also fine too!

Thank you! :)

I’m just starting out with knitting too so will check back here to see if others post pattern suggestions and equally will share any good ones I find. :slightly_smiling_face: (I’m planning to try simple square/rectangle shapes to start with like coasters, placemats, washcloths, cushion covers etc. with some straightforward colour work.) :yarn:

I know of a chunky cardigan/shrug thats knit! I dont know how to link a pattern, but if you search “chunky shoulder shrug” from the creator The Snugglery you should be able to find it!

I don’t really look at the difficulty level of patterns. If I like the item and want to make it, then I will make it

For knitting I’ve been into dishcloths, potholders etc. we can’t do a lot of outside pattern linking as that’s against the community guidelines, but Ribblr does have knitting patterns that you can look at.
