hey there! im looking for some cool crochet gadgets but dont know what to buy or what will save time (or just whats a cool gadget to experiment with

i just got a yarn holder and a safety eye tool that have saved me lots of time and are fun to crochet with but, any other suggestions?! must buy items?!

To be honest, I think a lot of these gadgets are a waste of money and don’t necessarily help you with your craft. Check out some of the youtube videos that test these crochet gadgets and give you feedback on them so you can decide for yourself whether it’s something you’d like to try.
Here’s my essentials:
I definitely think the safety eye tool is a must have. Especially when working with the bigger eyes.
Ami-sticks are helpful. I made my own using thin double pointed knitting needles and then pushing beads onto the ends - you can also glue the beads to the ends, although I haven’t found that necessary. I do think these are very helpful when you have to sew heads to bodies as they hold them together and in place better. Use several at a time inserted at different angles for a firmer hold.
Stitch markers (naturally) - whatever type, design you prefer. My go to are the Clover brand which I find the most durable. I don’t think I’ve ever broken one. These are not just helpful for marking stitches but are also a great way to hold seems together if you’re making a jumper or jacket etc.
Other things I’ve found useful that aren’t really specific to crochet.
I’ve found a large pair of tweezers extremely helpful for getting stuffing into small pieces of amigurumi, like arms, legs and tails. They’re also good if you forget to stuff and need to access the inside of your ami through a tiny opening before closing.
I actually find the really long sewing needles a great alternative for ami sticks when making smaller ami projects. They aren’t the regular sewing needles for clothes etc, they’re more for sail making, upholstery etc. They are pointy and are just the right size for holding the likes of horns, ears, wings, arms and legs in place and are less likely to damage/split your yarn.
And, don’t laugh, a pair of pliers. Whatever your dad has is great. Ask him for a pair that he doesn’t use often. I find these helpful for pulling my sewing needles through the amigurumi. Sometimes the sewing needle (mainly the eye of the needle where the yarn is inserted) gets stuck and twisted around the stuffing making it really hard to pull through, so I use the pliers to make the job easier. Don’t use your teeth.
These are probably my most used “gadgets”.
This is a crochet hook that can change sizes. It lights up and you can count stitches and rounds. It really helps me!

AAAAHHH! I HAVE SEEN THOSE! is it worth the money for them? i have heard ppl say there great for when your traveling like at night in a car or a dimly lit plane!

nice! i just got one, but it is a hand crank and broke easily, do have an electric one or is getting a better quality one worth it?
oh I bought three diff kinds and I noticed that the simple ones like that one in the screenshot is good but with metal hooks, maybe it’s just my preference but the plastic hooks never worked for me. I have the plastic ones, the metal ones and a porcelain one. My brother stole the porcelain one because I didn’t like it. But yeah imo I would just make sure the hooks were metal. 
I have some if you were wondering, I think its cool but the light isn’t the best and it could be bad for your eyes. I heard a neck lamp or something is better.
Idk! I have a plastic hand crank one, but thinking of getting one. Mines on its last life.
