Why is it that time flies when youre having fun, but drags on when youre waiting for something? Ive been in yarn rest for 2 weeks and its not up until the 23rd…why isnt MONDAY here yet!? (Never thought id hear myself say those words…) 2 days and a few hours to go!!

Yes, it’s always like that!
Its because our perception of time, how we experience and remember time, is directed by how much information our brains need to process that day.
Like if you study, the day seems to go slower because your brain needs to process a lot.
And fun events boost your dopamine release, which makes your internal clock run faster. Your sense of time goes faster than time itself. Crazy right?
