Put a finger down if you’ve ever wanted to crochet something but you couldn’t find the pattern that matched exactly what you were looking for, so after days of extensive research you decide to wing it and make your own pattern up on the fly, and it doesn’t end up too bad but you know it could have been better, but you’re happy because you just WINGED A WHOLE FREAKIN’ PROJECT but now you’re sad because you realize you don’t remember anything you did, so you can’t replicate it or make another or even write down the specific pattern because it was a lot of spontaneous yarn decisions…

i almost did that once with my top hat pattern, i forgot it the first time but winged it when i had to make the second one and actually wrote it down this time lol

100% have done that a few times and wished I had written it down instead. Made a giant whale shark recently wish I had written a pattern for it
