I read the book 3 or 4 years ago, and watched the movie as soon as it dropped on Prime (I wanted to see it in theaters, but by the time I had money for tickets, it was out of my local theater 
). I have read all of Andy Weir’s books, but Project Hail Mary is my absolute favorite.
I watched the movie and when I found out it was a book I was elated. My family thought the movie was Cortney and didn’t make sense, but I adored it. I immediately put a hold on the book and then read the Martian. My hold became ready as I was out of state and I had to get BACK on the list. All in all I was on hold for like 4 and 1/2 months.
I LOVE Project Hail Mary! The movie is awesome, but personally I like the book better! Rockyyyyy
