Last night I was crocheting, I have a birthday present for my boyfriend that I’m hoping to get finished before the end of the month. And the round I was on required 4 DC. I looked at that, and read 4 decreases, did 4 increases instead of decreases, and for the life of me could not understand why my count didn’t match what the pattern said.
When I realized it needed double crochet and my brain just completely missed it, I knew it was time to go to bed.
So, what about you? What tells you that its time to go to bed and put down the yarn?

There’s always a missed stitch somewhere or I find myself recounting a row like 3 times because I lost count over and over. The other day I was crocheting before bed and had to redo a row 3 times before I decided my brain was too tired to do it correctly lol.

I honestly have a spesific time that I have to go to bed, but if i don’t, I just start to feel bad. My head will start to hurt along with my stomachs and become nauseous.
Thats how I know TO GO TO BED, lol.

when I wake up and realize I’d fallen asleep while crocheting…again. But maybe I can get this one row done first? Then 2 hours later wake up again and finally decide to give up and go to bed

I’m with you, not a certain time per se, but when I get tired, I get there in seconds. I mean by the time I realize I’m tired I have to find a place to lay down fast. It’s better now than when I first got COVID 5 years ago.
