Revelation 21:4 ESV
[4] He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
I pray this verse serves as a reminder to all those who are hurting now that it will not last. God will wipe away the pain, go to him in your sorrow as you would your earthly dad and speak to Him of your sorrows. Tell Him of who you lost, tell stories and remember them, let Him share the burden, let Him take it from you. Let Him take the pain, and leave the love. Let your Father in Heaven wipe the tears from your eyes.

Wow. This really speaks to me this month.
We lost 5 ppl that we knew, and have to go to our grandma’s funeral this month (August 8 or 9) and my mom is going… my parents divorced when I was 4.
Pls pray that everything goes well and theres no major fights like the last time a family event happened…
Also I had seen him at a funeral a week or two ago, and I tried speaking to him, but my selective mutism kicked in majorly and I started to have a panic attack. My “dad” has tried, and almost successfully, to ruin our lives.
