Birthday Party

Hi everyone!

So I have a small problem… my birthday is in about 2 weeks and I have no idea what I want or what to do for my birthday party. If anyone has any ideas for crochet related gifts or just random party activities, they would be very appreciated!:yarn:

Don’t rly have any ideas for party activities tho. I normally do an escape room w friends and then cook/bake the rest of the day w my family.

For my little brother’s birthday, my parents did a cake and ice cream bar instead of one big cake. My mom made mini cakes in small tins from Walmart or Dollar Tree, set out different frosting flavors and candy toppings, plus single serve ice cream cups. It turned into a really fun decorating activity for everyone, adults included lol. The extra mini cakes also froze well since they weren’t decorated yet. Outside of that It’s getting warm in most parts of the northern hemisphere (If that’s where you’re at lol) so maybe some kind of outside activity like a water slide or water balloons? Decorate your own sunglasses?

For crochet gifts, last year my husband got me a crochet backpack that has hook storage, yarn holders inside, and little yarn feed holes so you can crochet without taking the yarn out. It was around $30, comes in a bunch of colors, and is still big enough for my laptop, books, and everyday stuff with the yarn included. It even has an external USB port for a charging pack. I can find the Amazon link if you want!

Other than that maybe yarn storage if you don’t have it, stitch markers, Yarn needles, safety eyes, unique notions like noses or beaks, a journal you can write ideas and sketch out things or take notes specifically for crochet, stuffing and or plastic pellets, or maybe just gift cards so you can pick out your own yarn but I know some people don’t like to do that. I got this little yarn holder that spins your yarn as you crochet I really like using it, helps me keep tension better. They have those on Amazon too.
