Heyy!! How r u?? Hopefully all good ^^
So Christmas is coming and I was planning on doing some plushies to sell, however the yarn I usually work with (Jasmine as I know it, but basically DK yarn) is way to thin and making plushies in a decent-ish size takes longer!
So I asked My mom to give me an early Christmas (hehe) and I asked for some soft plsuh yarn!
Just bought 3 cuz they were obviously way more expensive, but they are super soft and cute!!
Thing is, do You have any advice You could give me? It’s My very first time working with this yarn and I would also love if You have any ideas of what to do with them!!
Ty in advancee hehe

I NEED MORE PLUSH YARN anyways… some yarns tend to shed fluff (or whatever it’s called) or break when making a MR, if that happens to you just use the ch 2 method, but only SOME yarns are like that.
also, if you have any trouble with magic rings, burn the edges just the slightest bit, and the yarn wont shed as much from the end when you pull the magic ring closed.
The way I tell between is if you cut a bit off and pull at the fluffy, on chenille ot will slide off the end but bernat won’t.
Also if you look at the cross section, bernat is flatter like a rectangle and chenille if more circular
I found larger yarn works up way faster than expected! Like in one pattern after three rounds it was the size of my palm! I recommend using patterns with a lower stitch count (20 to 30) and around 20 rounds. I only do amigurumi, though, so if you crochet flatter pieces I have no advice.
YESSS I was thinking abt that I’ll see how can I make it work, maybe I’ll have to use a thinner yarn to crochet too but lets see if I can get to identify stitches!
Oh yess I have seen they work up really quickly!! I’m doing amigurumi with them too so I’ll look for Tiny patterns hehe
I am soooo gonna make this! I’ll do it for my mums birthday on the 11th of nov because she doesn’t want anything to do with Christmas until after her birthday
I love this yarn ! I got gifted some, never had any problems with making a magic ring with it, but if you ever do try making a ring out of some lighter weight yarn
