I’m working on this crochet top and I don’t have a finished sample that I’m happy with yet. I made this mockup to show what the finished design is supposed to look like. I would clearly mention that it’s AI-generated and not an actual finished piece.
Do you think this would be okay to use for a tester call, or should I wait until I have a real sample? I’d love to hear what you guys think!
please, please, do not use an AI image. these are often misleading, and it would be best to give your testers a real, unedited image of what the product looks like!
Nope, not allowed. Please don’t rush into a tester call just because you want to do one immediately. Take your time and produce a great pattern! Looks like will be beautiful!
“Personally, I think it’s better to wait until you have a real sample. Testers usually need to see the actual texture, drape, and stitch definition of the yarn to understand what they are making. AI images can sometimes look a bit unrealistic, which might confuse the testers.”
