Cannot claim a pattern on PC after I follow a shop

I’ve been having a bug lately on my PC where I cannot claim a pattern that is followers only, after I go in and follow the shop.

It will show that I am following the shop, but when I go back to the pattern, the button is still greyed out and says the usual “followers only”

For reference, I am using Firefox browser on my desktop, which runs Windows 11

I use firefox too and this happens to me. What I do is, after following the user, click on the community page or homepage and just wait a bit. Then after some time I can claim the pattern  (its very random but it works for me :woman_shrugging:)

Did you try refreshing the page or going to homepage and going back?

I usually have to get on my phone to claim it, or I will entirely forget
My 6month old has started crawling so most of my days are chasing him around now, and my PC is in the basement. I really just get on and check things out during his nap. Having to wait isn’t really a viable solution for me.
I may have to try using chrome in the meantime to avoid the issue.

I’m sorry you are also having this issue and im happy that you have found a way to claim the patterns, still, at least.

@littlemisswonderful I have tried refreshing the page and going to different pages and coming back. If I claim the pattern on my phone and go back to the shop on my computer, it will allow me to claim their other patterns and recognizes that I am following now. But the original pattern that I wanted and claimed on my phone will still be buggy on the PC and show the grey “followers only button” instead of the “Ribblr It” option. It’s just strange and has been going on for a little bit now, so I thought I would make a post to see if maybe Ribblr would want to look into it.

Please try to use Chrome instead of Firfox. And instead of going back to the page after following a shop, scroll through the shop and find the pattern you like and click it. Alternatively, refresh the pattern page after going back like @littlemisswonderful suggested, because when you hit the back button to go back to the previous page you also go back to not being a follower. Refreshing the page should refresh your follower status.
