Carrying yarn

Hey so I’m working on this pattern for a big project and I’m wondering as this is an issue that comes up all the time for me, do I carry the alternating yarn behind? And if so how? Without it showing through.

Behind, yes.
Without showing through might be tricky, depending on your tension.
Is it a tapestry project?
Then your stitches should be relatively ‘tight’ and the carried yarn well hidden.

I cannot explain it very weird. Maybe someone has a video. :two_hearts:

And as with everything, you might have to practice a bit :two_hearts:

Yeah, that video is the only technique I’ve known, it used to be called “work over carry”
