I would personally gently hand wash it and try to get all the cat hair off!

that’s what i’d suggest as well! some stain remover would be good too.

I wash mine in a tote bag or zippered pillowcase. I have 2 cats and a baby. They all want the amigurumis to themselfes

Since it is small I would just hand wash it with a little gentle laundry soap and luke warm water. If you don’t want to do that then you can toss it in with your clothes as long as you aren’t using hot water and the clothes don’t have hooks or other things to catch on the stitches.
