Would absolutely love to test this. It’s due date happens to be my birthday and I have 3 kids this would be perfect for 
I have black, red, and white sparkle in acrylic yarn. And pink and white in another thicker yarn. I have a 4,5, and 6mm hook so I am not sure what I would use first

I can test with orange Loops & Threads yarn with a 4mm size hook!
