Hey Ribblr crafters!
Get your hooks, needles, and scrap yarn ready, because I am launching a brand-new, fast-paced game with @Makkofang: The Pattern Twist Sprint! This competition will happen every two months, but may have to occasionally be delayed.
How It Works:
- At the start of the comp, I will drop a link to a free, super simple pattern on Ribblr. (Make sure to save your pattern claims!)
- A 72-hour countdown clock starts the second the pattern is revealed, and I will give occasional updates in the group chat.
- You have exactly 72 hours to make that pattern, but with a twist. Put the most unique, hilarious, or creative spin on it you can think of. Give it a funny face, make it giant, turn it into a hat, use crazy colors, or anything goes.
- The Voting: After 72 hours, submissions close and we will do a community poll to vote on the most creative spin.
The Rules:
- You must use the base pattern, but you can alter it, add pieces, change yarn sizes, or modify it however you want, as long as you credit any other patterns you use.
- Post a photo of your finished project before the 72-hour timer runs out.
The Prize:
- a shop and personal account follow from @Makkofang and I
- a small custom pattern
- 2 priority testing each for @Makkofang and my patterns
- bragging rights!
How to join
If you want to join the roster for Season 1, just comment “I want to join!” below.
Once we get enough sign-ups, I will announce the official start time and reveal the first pattern. Tag your friends if they love a challenge!
