I would use acrylic yarn by loops and thread with a 4.5 mm hook. I would like to do the darker smaller one please :) hopefully I can test for you

I would test the bigger one in weight 6 yarn with a 6mm hook and the smaller one with weight 4 yarn and a 5mm hook. I hope I bet to test!
