One name that came to mind is “Echo the Fox”. When they howl it Echos because they form packs and there’s always more than one. I would love to test for you. Worsted yarn, 3.5 hook, my colors I choose if chosen.

I would LOVE to test! I use Yarn Bee Velvety Smooth and Baby Bee Adore-a-ball plush yarns, and size 3.5mm-5mm hooks for most of my projects.
As for names; Autumn, Maple, Forest

Just shown this pattern to my 9 and 13 year olds, they said well done it looks lovely… They also had a name suggestion each. Miss 9 thinks Abby, Miss 13 suggests Paprika {due to the colour} and I am suggesting Fae Fox because I love a good alliteration.
Would be delighted to test however I completely understand loyalty to those who have been with you for the whole journey. Good Luck.

I’d love to make a fox as a test for you…I’m thinking flower crown to give it a spring vibe.
I am currently destashing my I Love This Cotton yarn and would use a J hook.
I’m thinking maybe Sly as a name as it is also a fox trait.
