I need up to 10 testers for my 3-In-1 Low-Sew Easter Egg Popper Crochet Pattern! You can choose to crochet either a chick, a bunny or a cub. This tester call closes next Saturday (7th March). After that, those who have been chosen will be notified via their DMs or private messages.
The due date is 20th March. This is a beginner friendly pattern, and it’s a quick crochet project to finish, so hopefully, that’s enough time. However, please make sure that you do finish and remember to give me notes on what I could add before the deadline. I don’t want to go back and edit small bits after the upload. If you feel that you can’t finish, please don’t apply. Finally, please no ghosting!
Materials I used: DK yarn, 3.00mm sized hook, 5mm safety eyes (not recommended for children under 3 years of age)
Other notes: I used yarn under, yarn over for crocheting these items. I recommend you follow those steps, otherwise, they might get distorted with loose stitches.

You insert the hook in the stitch, yarn under the hook, pull through, yarn over the hook, pull through the 2 stitches.

No, you can give them any colour you want. In fact, you could even make the egg plain.

Such a cute idea, I would be delighted to test, I would use size 6 plush yarn, with a 5mm hook. I always use the yarn under - yarn over method for my amigurumi so this will be no issue… If I had a choice it would be the bunny or the chick as bears are not really a thing linked to easter in Australia.

No, but bears do wake up from hibernation in the spring. So it is kind of relevant.
