I need testers for my Beetle Buddy - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: May 25th 2025 (Can extend if things come up)
Additional Requirements: I used 4 Medium yarn and a D-3.25mm crochet hook, You don’t have to use the same
If selected, please just give me updates on your progress. If ghosted, I will remove you from testing and you will not be selected for testing in the future.
Once you complete the pattern, I’d really appreciate a Journal entry and a decent picture of your finished Beetle. I like to add these pictures to the PDF pattern I sell on Etsy, along with your Instagram handle/ribblr username
ETA: I don’t really care about what colors you use, just so long as they look nice together. And I’ll be picking testers about 24 hours from when I posted this.

I would love to try this for you. I do love to ask questions. Most of my yarn is 4 and I would use hook size 3/3.125. Do you care about the colors?

I’d like to test. I use a susan bates F hook but I’m a tight crocheter. I have various colors of yarn (too much yarn to be honest) so can use whatever colors are required.

Ahhhh I love bugs!!! I’d use some big twist yarn (not sure about the colors yet lol) and either a 4mm hook or a 5mm hook :>

It’s only two colors, unless you want the abdomen to be a different color. (I’d only do that if you decide not to sew the wings all the way on.)

Absolutely! I also recommend beads or felt if you don’t have/want to use safety eyes
