[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet:Boba Octopus (No-Sew!)

I need testers for my Boba Octopus (No-Sew!) - Crochet ePattern

:dizzy: :sparkles: Hi friends!! I am so excited to announce my FIRST pattern!! I figured since I can’t really crochet now that my wrist is broken, I thought I’d try designing a pattern! I’ve been thinking about this one for a while and hadn’t seen anyone else make a pattern like this (as far as I could tell from my research). :sparkling_heart:

Due Date: March 9, 2025 (a little over two weeks! This is a relatively quick make and took around an hour at most)
Additional Requirements:
:octopus: Complete the pattern within the given timeframe (willing to give 3-day extension)
:bubble_tea: No aborting/ghosting the group chat (Please let me know if you need to abort, I completely understand! Just don’t disappear or you may be blocked from future tests.)
:octopus: All feedback must go in the tester chat, NOT the journal
:bubble_tea: Please provide a photo review in the journal with at least two sentences once completed (I will gift the pattern once you let me know!)
:octopus: No yarn, hook, or color requirements! I would love to see this made in acrylic or jumbo yarn, mini and big. I would like at least two different colors (straw and boba can be the same color, body must be different)
:bubble_tea: Know certain stitches/techniques (bobble, FLO, BLO, inc, dec, sc, hdc, dc)
:octopus: and have fun!!

:star: If you would like to test, please comment the :octopus: :bubble_tea: emojis along with the yarn, hook, and colors you will be using. Since this is a relatively quick make, more testers may be accepted with time.

I hope your wrist gets better soon! How did you make it with a broken wrist?

thank you! :grin::sparkling_heart:

very, very carefully :sweat_smile: it mostly involves keeping my arm/wrist stabilized and doing most of the crochet movement with my other hand. definitely wouldn’t recommend and this is probably the last thing i’ll make for a while :face_holding_back_tears::sob:

tagging some people i’ve interacted with in case you would like to see/know anyone who may be interested! :sparkling_heart: (please let me know if you want me to remove you/not tag you in future posts - no worries if so! you won’t hurt my feelings haha)
