I need testers for my Break up Keese Bat - Zelda - Crochet ePattern
Click pattern photo to apply:

I request that testers post the completed piece in a journal, please do not include notes or details of the pattern in the journal.
Please provide feedback in a chat I will open.
Please post what you feel your skill level is. I’m hoping to gauge how difficult the pattern is so want to pick people of different skill levels.
Please use cotton or acrylic yarn and 4mm hook. Colors aren’t important to me, but the pattern is not designed for chunky yarn and will come out conical.
I will gift the pattern/karma at the end of testing to all that complete the test.
Deadline is July 19th I’ll pick testers tomorrow or Monday depending on if there are applications

Dude that’s super cool! It looks like the eye can come out like in the game too?!
I’d love to help test but I’ll be gone on a vacation in one week so I don’t think I’ll have enough time. Good luck, and it looks fantastic!

It comes apart, the eye pops out and if Velcro is used the wings come off. I’m not requiring Velcro be used for the test but obviously if you sew the wings to the body they won’t pop off.
I’ve shown it on my insta awhile back if you swipe over to the last pic

This is so cool I love all the detachable pieces. I’m not sure that I could finish it in time or I would apply. Good luck with testing, I’ll be looking forward to the release

Love this! I’m obsessed with Zelda. I’m an advanced crocheter but less advanced with amigurami. I’d love to test it out though. Also I’m totally new to this website, just discovered it today.

Those are some wicked wings. I’d love to test this, too!
I’d say my level is intermediate. I mostly have worked on clothing (sweaters, dresses, vests, etc) and purses. I can send you some photos if you would like.
My most difficult project is an infamous vintage dress pattern.

No way this pattern is awesome!!! Literally yesterday I was playing TOTK and was thinking how cool it would be if there was a crochet keese with a removeable eyeball and wings, I never thought my prayers would be answered so soon! Goodluck with testing I wish I could apply but I’ll be looking foward to the pattern drop!

Thanks everyone, I’ve got to go through match up posts to applications I wish we could customize the application a bit instead of just the 1-click apply. It would be convenient if people could list their experience level on the application.

I’ve grabbed some testers and started the chat, thank you everyone that applied.
If you’re interested in this sort of thing (Zelda or fandom makes in general - I do mostly Nintendo/anime) I’ve got more lined up and waiting I just already have 2 tests going and want these to complete before I open up more. You can follow me to get alerts when those pop up though.
