[Closed] Tester call for Crochet: Caroline the Christmas Bunny

I am looking for 6 testers for my bunny pattern.

The pattern is a pdf pattern and written in English and uses U.S. abbreviations.
I do also have the pattern in Swedish if you want to test the Swedish version instead.

Skill level: Intermediate

Approximate time to finish: 20 h

Deadline: 7 December 2024 is the final date for sharing feedback. Please do not overshoot this date without giving a heads up first if you cannot make it :)

Dimensions: height: 19 cm, width: 12 cm

Experience: You should know basic and more intermediate stitches/techniques (see techniques)

How to sign up: Write a comment and tell me if you want to test the English or Swedish version and click on the photo. I will choose testers and send a message to the chosen testers with a link to the pattern. I am happy if you want to make a journal, but please do not write feedback and corrections in this, write a message to me with them instead.

Techniques used:

  • Magic ring
  • Chain stitch
  • Single crochet
  • Slip stitch
  • Increase
  • Decrease
  • Colour change
  • Attach parts by crocheting
  • Join legs
  • Surface crochet

Materials and tools needed:

  • I have used acrylic yarn, 130 m by 50 g. You can use another yarn if you want, change hook size accordingly.
  • The colours I used, you can choose any colour: brown (37 g), red (35 g)
  • Hook size 2.35 mm, or the appropriate for your yarn
  • For the decorative edging: I have used faux fur yarn with about 1 cm long fur, 75 m by 50 g, colour: white.
  • Stuffing
  • Darning needle and scissors
  • For eyes: I have used mercerized cotton yarn, 670 m by 100 g (black, white and blue) and hook size 2.0 mm, if you prefer safety eyes you are welcome to use that.

Compensation: A copy of the finished pattern and my gratitude!
If you finish within the deadline, you will be gifted the pattern as well!

Expectations:

  • Please check the pattern for errors.
  • Were the instructions clear and easy to follow?
  • If some of the instructions are unclear, do you have a suggestion on how to make it clearer and more understandable?
  • Do you have any other comments about the pattern?

Click pattern photo and write a comment which version you would like to test to apply:

I was so excited for this one but I don’t like doing pdf patterns as much. This is SOOO cute, though, I may change my mind if I get some things done fast enough.

Thank you!!
It is just the testing that is in pdf, when I release the pattern it will be in both Ribblr e-pattern and as a pdf.

Just curious, any special reason you’re not testing with the ribblr pattern too? (There is nothing wrong with it, I’m just curious)

My big thing about the difference is being able to check off the steps I did already, PDFs don’t let the user do that and I’m a creature of simplicity.

It’s because I want to see if the layout and format with text and pictures in the pdf is clear and understandable, since I will sell the pdf pattern on other platforms as well that don’t have ribblr pattern.

I can totally agree that the function to check off steps is a big plus with ribblr pattern.
