[Closed] Tester call for Crochet: Chubby Birds (low sew)

Hello everyone! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I have another pattern for you all! (and I know I just posted one earlier )

I’m looking for a few lovely testers for my chubby birds (including the penguin mod)! :penguin:

This is a beginner-friendly pattern with very little sewing required (just the beak!). It also includes some felt cutting, but you can easily swap this for safety eyes.

Due Date: 19 October 2026 (Australia). The bird took me 30 minutes to make.

Requirements:

:bird: Let me know your yarn choice and hook size in the comments! If you don’t have any makes on Ribblr yet, feel free to show me some of your recent makes when you apply!

:bird: Please have your bird finished by the due date and stay active in the group chat — no ghosting! :ghost:

:bird: Drop your feedback in the group chat rather than the journal.

:bird: Please take your finished photos in natural lighting so I can see your bird clearly!

If you’ve read everything, please comment :bird: :bird: :bird: below, and don’t forget to click on the pattern photo below to apply! Feel free to apply for both patterns! :heart_hands:

I can’t wait to see all your chubby birds! :two_hearts:

ADORBSSSS! I would love to test!!! (btw I clicked on penguin mod by accident, I don’t have grey or light blue yarn, so just decline me) I have many makes on my profile, and you can even check my shop maybe… Anyways the birds are just ADORBSSSS. I would test with chenille yarn and a 6,5 mm hook! I would test the pink one, but make it all pink, or cream and pink. I could maybe even try testing the chicken, and use a 2,5 mm hook, to make it a keychain. What is the final size of this? EDIT: :bird: :bird: :bird:

I’d love to test this for you! I’d use worsted weight yarn and a 3mm hook. Here are some of my latest makes.

They are all so cute:face_holding_back_tears:. My favorite is the lil blue white birdie. I would love to test it using the same colours as you:bird::bird::bird:in chenille yarn and a 5mm hook. And I loove the penguin mod, I would also test it using similar colours as you in chenille yarn and a 5mm hook:penguin:.

Many greetings:heart:
