[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Chuck the demon

Love how your pattern turned out! I would use acrylic yarn with a 3mm hook. My idea would be a light pink base with black and grey studs :sign_of_the_horns: I don’t know who to tag on Ribblr but I’ve done about 20 pattern tests now so I’ll stick to the brief. Here are some of my makes with the yarn hook combo above! I can start straight away

one of the requirements to apply to test this was to tag someone who i thought would be interested

It’s okay  no need to ag anyone if you cant find anyone. It wasn’t supposed to be like a requirement it was just a ā€œhelp this get seenā€ thing cause last few times I had ppl find the post AFTER it closed so I wanted to help ensure it got seen before . But absolutely not a requirement to be choosen!

I’d love to test this in a mix of red velvet and worsted yarn with a 3.5mm hook! :spider:

I’d be able to start ASAP

Here’s something I made with the red velvet:

Is there a possibility you remember what scorpion pattern that is?

I would love to test with bulky chenille and a 5mm hook. I’m thinking turquoise for the main color with grey and green accent colors. I can start asap. GLWT!

Because I’m being targeted by a stranger

You’re not being targeted. Your name has been in chats and on boards. People tag random people all the time and the particular user you’re so upset at is really nice. They aren’t targeting you. You’re blowing it out of proportion. Next time simply ask not to be tagged. Not that hard. I get tagged all the time by people I don’t know. Just makes me happy that people know I’m here

Back on topic, glwt rue! It’s adorable :heart:

amazing work! I’d like to test it, but the timeline it’s too strict for me, so just let me say that I love it!!!:heart::heart:

At-ing someone is literally targeting them. I do repeatedly ask not to be tagged. And when I do, I am told to just deal with it. I believe that there are boundary and consent issues with doing that to people you don’t know and more so with creating an environment that asks people to do so. I don’t think anyone should be requiring tags, only asking. Beyond that, if a post DOES ask you to tag someone and you don’t have a FRIEND or PERMISSION to do so, then you shouldn’t be doing it.

This is a tester call on a craft app, please take this somewhere else. Apologies Rue, GLWT!

I’m only responding to others. And it does involve OP because they asked for tags.

Being tagged (@ā€˜ed) doesn’t mean you’re being targeted, it just means that someone wants you to see a post that you may be interested in. It makes it easier than constantly sending links and stuff.

I don’t like being tagged much myself, but what helped me was adding ā€œPlease do not tag me without asking firstā€ to my bioand I stopped being tagged. If you don’t like people tagging you, I recommend you put it in your bio— ideally the first line.
