I think it’s cute
Unfortunately I can’t commit to the project but I do have a suggestion. It looks like there might be gaps due to stuffing. If that is the case I’d suggest a smaller hook size.
Do you have any yarn or hook requirements for those who can help test?

I used worsted weight yarn and a 3.5mm hook

Oh he is so cute!
I would suggest going down a full hook size and also doing the x single crochet stitch whereby you inset hook, yarn under (so the yarn is under the hook when picked up rather than yawning over where the yarn is over the hook when is picked up as is the usual way), pull through and complete the sc stitch as normal. This makes a fuller looking stitch and helps to prevent the big gaps as well. I hope this helps.
Do you have a yarn thickness requirement? If not, I am happy to test for you if you are still looking for testers. Hubby has me on a yarn buying ban, so I would not be able to buy any new yarn in order to test.
