[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Chunky Reindeer

I need testers for my Chunky Reindeer - Crochet ePattern

Due Date: 10 days from start of test (I will pick testers in the next couple of days)

Skill Level: Beginner - mostly simple stitches with a little sewing and a couple of colour changes required.

About the Pattern:

  • No-sew body base starts at the bottom of the feet and works up to the top of the head as a single piece, crocheting in the arms
  • Sewing required to attach nose, ears, antlers and tail
  • Approx. 25cm tall with DK yarn and 2.5mm hook, 40cm tall with chunky yarn and 4mm hook
  • Mix and match with my other Chunky and Pig patterns. For example, make yourself a reindeer rhino by using Rollo the Chunky Rhino to modify this patternk

If you’ve tested any of my recent chunky or pig patterns, the base of this pattern is identical. I also have many more patterns coming soon, all designed to be mixed and matched thanks to the shared base.

Additional Requirements:

  • You can use any yarn and the appropriate hook size, and experiment with different colours. This is a great pattern to make using plush yarn!

  • The instructions include options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes, so do not worry if you do not have any safety eyes.

  • You must be willing to provide feedback on any parts of the pattern that are unclear or if you spot any errors / typos.

  • I would also like feedback on the level of difficulty.

  • A journal entry of the finished item would be amazing, but not required - however, I would love to see a photo of your finished amigurumi.

  • If you would like to do a mashup with any of my other patterns, let me know in the comments.

Thanks for looking :grinning:

I’m in please

I’m not sure what colors or yarn yet. 4.5 or 5mm hook. If I have enough, it will be plush yarn. Iwant her to be snuggly soft.

How about a Frankinreindeer?

Of course I had to apply. As usual I will use worsted and a 3mm.:deer:

I know it probably sounds weird, but I’d like to make a devil deer. My family plays DND and I think it would fit in with that.

That would go with a Frankendeer

If I have enough yarn, I would love to make a plush deer with a red nose, using a 4.5 or 5 mm hook.

Would love to test another one of your great patterns! I don’t believe I have crocheted a reindeer yet, so definitely need to do that. Would be using bulky yarn with a 5mm hook. :deer:
