I need testers for my Cinnamon Roll Snake - Crochet ePattern

oh my I would absolutely love to test this 
I’d use bernat blanket yarn for the icing and snake, and then big twist plush yarn for the cinnamon on top, and is use a 8mm hook (:

Sorry i applied too quickly and completely missed where it said plush yarn only… I only own acrylic in these colors and my yarn store closed

I have the tan and white, but I might have run out of the dark brown, would it be permissible to just double up accrilic yarn to make it thicker?
I have used it before when it calls for bulkier yarn. Turns #4 yarn into bulky yarn (downside is it used up the skein faster as you are using 2x, turning one strand into 3)
