[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Eggy Bat - Halloween Special

I need testers for my Eggy Bat - Halloween Special - Crochet ePattern

Due Date: 2 weeks from start of test (I will pick testers in the next couple of days)

Skill Level: I have assigned an intermediate skill level to this pattern. It involves some assembly, such as sewing components together, and incorporates a few less common stitches and techniques for the ears and wings. Additionally, there are a few colour changes to create the belly. You should be comfortable with reading patterns and familiar with abbreviations and crochet terminology.

Additional Requirements:

  • You can use any yarn and the appropriate hook size, and experiment with different colours. I would love to see a plush or chunky Eggy Bat!

  • The instructions include options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes, so do not worry if you do not have any safety eyes

  • You must be willing to provide feedback on any parts of the pattern that are unclear or if you spot any errors / typos

  • A journal entry of the finished item would be amazing, but not required - however, I would love to see a photo of your finished Eggy.

Thanks for looking :grinning:

I have to test this! It’s adorable! I can do plush or regular acrylic yarn.

You can use whichever you prefer. I’d love to see a plush bat but acrylic may be easier. I’m not sure how well the wings would turn out in plush. I might have to give it a go myself to see

I was just thinking that. Acrylic yarn stands on its down pretty well.

The wings are double thickness too which may not work so well with plush. I might try one with single thickness and just one colour instead of 2 different shades of purple.

I was just out today getting yarn, and I grabbed a purple, because I don’t have any purple worsted. I wish I had gotten two shades. I may have enough in my left over box for the second shade. If I get picked I’ll make it work for sure.
