o-okay f-fine i’ll be honest i kinda forgot about posting the tester call for this lil gentleman… a-anyways…
im well aware that there are plenty of absolutely awesome frog patterns out there but i wanted to try adding to that pile with my own flair :3
DUE DATE: January 6th. this is a pattern that i made on a whim, took me about an hour to make! it can be made quickly in one sitting.
eh, could’ve been no sew, but i couldnt sleep peacefully without knowing he had a tongue.
REQUIREMENTS + OTHER:
- journal
- all feedback SHZOOOOM into the group chat. NOT in the final journal.
- in the pattern, it says the tongue is optional; but for the test, i would like to see some TONGUES. unless you have a super duper kabooper amazing mouth that you want to embroider. then, maybe i’ll give an exception.
- frog colours plez :p you can go crazy with the tongue colour tho, idm. blue tongue? sure. say it ate a bunch of artificially coloured candy.
- take a good pic!! good lighting, uncluttered background, etc.
- dont ghost me

- looking for only a couple of testers, less than 5?? i think-
- if you don’t comment what yarn, colours, and hook you’ll use, you will not be chosen <3
SKILLS:
this is a beginner friendly pattern! the most complicated stitch is a bbl stitch. VERY minimal sewing and embroidery (how much embroidery depends on you) is involved. also, if you’re gonna tie a bow, ig one of the skills is knowing how to tie your shoelaces.
Click pattern photo to apply:

also: i sincerely apologize for sucking at embroidering on bbls. i desperately need more practice.
yea aaaanyway TYSM FOR READING MY YAPPINESS OKIE CYA (i wrote this right before getting all cozy in bed SO hence why it doesnt have all that fancy emojis and “tO pRovE yOu ReAd EveRyThiNg”)

uhhh i’ll use this delightful green yarn i js got (the color is <3) and i’ll triple it bc it’s REALLY thin like size 1 or 2 (it doesn’t say on the label so i’m guessing) with a size 4 hook.
prob a normal color tongue (light pink) in normal yarn so like size 4.
hey q, how many rounds is it? and max. st count?

I NEED TO TEST THIS
(don’t mind my craziness rn) I’ll be using velvet yarn and a 3mm hook and the same colors you used and worsted weight yarn for the embroidery (also what if I can’t tie me shoelaces
)
Edit:
also forgot to say that I’ll be adding a (pink) tongue

I would love to test! Your patterns are amazing btw! I would use light green for the body, black for the face details, and light pink for the tongue. Also could I make the tongue long? The hook will be a 3.5. Thanks!
