Fruit Keychains – Tester Call :watermelon::tangerine::lemon::lime::kiwi_fruit:

This is a beginner/intermediate crochet pattern. The lemon, lime, and orange are the most challenging due to the colourwork involved.

:tangerine: Testing Details
• Looking for 5–10 testers
• Applications will be accepted as they come in
• Due date: Wednesday, 1 July
• Each keychain takes approximately 30 minutes to complete
• No extensions will be given
• Please do not ghost or abort testing without letting me know

:lemon: Requirements
• Please stick to the colour scheme of the fruit you are testing
• Preferably use acrylic DK (double knitting) yarn and a keychain

:lime: Tester Responsibilities
• Complete your keychain by the deadline
• Report any errors, typos, or unclear instructions in the group chat only
• Submit finished photos in a journal

:kiwi_fruit: Tester Rewards
• Credit in the pattern bio
• Priority consideration for future testing opportunities

:watermelon: How to Apply
Comment:
• Which fruit(s) you would like to test (watermelon, lemon, lime, orange, and/or kiwi)
• Your time zone (this helps with communication, as many testers may be ahead of or behind BST)

Materials required

All used a 3mm hook, stuffing and a keychain

Watermelon: Red, white, dark green and yellow acrylic yarn (darning needle required for the seeds)

Lemon: White and yellow acrylic yarn

Lime: White and green acrylic yarn

Orange: White and yellow acrylic yarn

Kiwi: White, dark green, brown and black acrylic yarn (darning needle required for the seeds)

Can I still test it, even without the keychain?

I would like to test the lemon :lemon: and kiwi :kiwi_fruit:, maybe watermelon :watermelon: if I have time. I am in GMT. I would use 4mm hook and acrylic DK yarn.

Ohhh super cute!!:watermelon: I’d make the watermelon with acrylic in all the same colors except I don’t have yellow so would it be fine if I use black? And a 4mm hook! (I also have a keychain) my time zone is est

I would love to test the watermelon :watermelon: lemon :lemon: and :tangerine:! I would use probably both acrylic yarn and chenille yarn with a 3mm hook for the acrylic and a 4mm for the chenille! I have a fair amount of free time this summer (no sports taking up my time), so I could finish on time!

I am in the Eastern Time Zone!

I want to apply!!! I’ll make a lemon and watermelon, my timezone is EEST, I’ll be using yarnart jeans yarn (#2 in yarn weight), hope I’m accepted, GLWT!!! <3

I would LOVE to make all of them! However… I’m only positive I have the colors for the kiwi and lime rn, unless my watermelon’s a little on the dark side or my orange is variegated with sunset colors. XD So for now, I’ll only dedicate to the Kiwi, but I’d try more after that if I can find the right colors or if you don’t mind magic fruit. XD

I’m CST, but if you make a group chat for the tester group (available from your shop) everyone can reply when they’re around anyways, and those chats are private to your group.

I’ll be using weight 4 (worsted) yarn because bigger and smaller are hard on my hands.

I would love to work on them all but I’d go for the watermelon :watermelon: And my time zone is Mountain Stand Time, its in the USA if the helps :united_states:
