:red_paper_lantern:This is so cool! I would be a 4 weight worsted with a 3.5 mm hook as well. I do have makes on Ribblr and I know more of my own patterns and mash ups if you would like more reference pieces!

Absolutely adorable! Corvids are the best birds. I’d love to test with a plush yarn (likely weight 5 or 6) and a 5mm hook. :red_paper_lantern:

He’s super adorable and I’d love to make him. I tend to use Caron simply soft or I love this yarn for my worsted projects. I’d use the hook suggestion on the yarn package or what I’d end up needing for the gague to be correct. :red_paper_lantern:

Hello everyone! I am looking for 7-8 testers who will commit to the following:

  • REQUIRED: create a journal with at least one final photo (preferably natural lighting)
  • Provide feedback in a group chat regarding pattern mistakes, grammar, wording, etc.
  • Be active in chat and respond to the weekly check up message
  • Respond to the first message (within 48 hours or the first week) to let me know if you can still test! You will be removed from the pattern if there is no response!

Additional information:

  • Skill level: Intermediate
  • No yarn, color, or hook requirements
  • Sewing required
  • The finished product is 7" tall and 4.5" wide made with the materials listed below.
  • Largest stitch count is 56sts on the cape

Pattern includes:

  • A crow body base with sewing of the beak and tail
  • A keepers worn-out coat and cape
  • Simple pants
  • A top hat
  • A bag for collecting lost belongings
  • A bright lantern

Materials used:

  • Medium weight yarn
  • 3.5mm crochet hook

I think I will use a hook size 1 or 2. I am not sure what kind of yarn I will use, I have to thru my stash first.

Hello and thank you for the opportunity to test the pattern for this little cutie!

I would use medium weight with a 3.5mm as you have stated in your pattern.

I do not have any photos of my finished most recent make but I do have a few of one before I stitched on the eyes, as well as a make from a few years ago.
