PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING
Hello, citizens of Ribblr! I have brought a lil guardian in need of testing :D
DUE DATE: January 8, 2025. After applying, if life happens and you can’t test the pattern, please give a reasonable excuse. I won’t accept anything along the lines of “I’m too busy” or “I have other projects to work on”. There is a very likely chance that I’ll say no to any extensions.
SKILLS NEEDED:
I wouldn’t recommend this pattern for complete beginners as their first pattern. Some skills and stitches you need to know are: crocheting pieces into the round (technique explained in the pattern), sewing and basic embroidery, simple color changes, bobble stitch.
→ you will need to make four of the legs. if you’re too impatient for that, don’t apply.
REQUIREMENTS
Be able to communicate directly in the group chat. All feedback- good or bad- (and suggestions) go POOF out of your brain, through the keyboard, and into the group chat.
This is a specific request from me: Please include feedback about the design of the pattern, not only about the way the pattern’s written. This is the pattern that took the longest to design so far, and I want to hear what you would change about the pattern design, the structure and overall look of it. Like, if you could change one thing about the DESIGN of the pattern what would it be? For example, you could say “I would make the face bigger” or “I would spread the legs further apart”, so on.
Provide photo(s) of the finished product. Try to take at least ONE decent picture.
To prove you read this carefully, tell me what you would name your guardian! Mine is called Maeve :)
Make a journal once you’re done.
Be polite! Don’t be rude about someone else’s hard work. Although this barely happens on Ribblr, I wanted to include this just in case.
No ghosting. If I ask a question to everyone on the group chat, or tag you specifically, please reply within 48 hours.
Be able to embroider, sew, and color change.
YARN COLOURS + TYPES
In your comment, please write what you would use for your primary color and your secondary color.
For me, I wanted to make mine forest-y, so I used different shades of green. I don’t mind what kind of creative ideas you pick for your guardian, as long as it’s reasonable. You could also do a forest-y vibe, or one of the elements like fire, or you could do sky, or you might make it food-based, I don’t mind!
One requirement I do have is that the horns have to be some shade of yellow, gold, brown or beige.
I would prefer a mix of yarns- chenille, acrylic, maybe even velvet and fuzzy! Probably not eyelash yarn though
ADDITIONAL INFO:
This pattern has FOUR parts that require sewing
The highest stitch count in this pattern is 24 stitches
UPDATE:
The due date has been pushed back slightly as I will assign testers a bit later than what I planned :)
