I need testers for my Iris Cropped Hoodie - Crochet ePattern

Due Date: March 2nd
Additional Requirements:

  • No yarn or hook requirements
  • Progress photos and updates must be provided in group chat along with any errors/issues.
  • must post a final photo to your journal, preferably worn, face can be covered.
  • it would be a major bonus if you have an Instagram to post a final photo to help promote but not required
  • if you are interested, please comment what yarn you’d use, roughly what size you’d make, and a flower emoji to show you read everything :cherry_blossom:

Oooh! I would LOVE to test for you! I have the yarn needed and was actually poking for something like this for my seven year old who LOVES cropped sweaters

I would probably use a five or six hook and I have a variegated black and white yarn, I would have to ok at the brand again though! I made a cardigan for myself with it a while ago. :cherry_blossom:

Super cute design! I’d love to test a M/L version of the sweater if you’re looking, although I’ll say up front I can take pictures but not while it’s worn.
Best wishes with testing :heartpulse:

Could I make a not cropped version since it’s made to measure?

If not I might still be interested

How cute. I would absolutely LOVE to test this pattern! :hibiscus: I would most likely use Juicy Couture Velour Luxe in a forest green, as I have an abundance. As for a needle I’m thinking either a 6.5 or 5. I’d be making an adult XS/S. I’ve been searching high and low for a cropped hoodie pattern just like this!

OMG this is so cute??
I’d be interested in making an adult small(?) for myself with acrylic :cherry_blossom: not sure what color(s) I’d use yet but I’ll figure that out C: Might end up making it slightly less cropped but we’ll see :0
Unfortunately not very comfortable posting pictures of myself on the internet but I can give a verbal desc of how it fits LOL

How much yarn and how much time did it take to make the one for your toddler (sorry for all the questions)?

I love this! I would make this in a size 6 girls and would use a Big Twist Speckle in light pink for the body and a hot pink for the hood with a 5 mm hook. I feel like my daughter would love this! I like the attention to detail I see in the pattern with ribbing and the bottom of the body and end of the sleeves. :cherry_blossom:

ong, it’s adorable!! i love it :) i’d love to test! i would use a gradient purple yarn with a size 5 hook, probably an XS/S in adult? :sunflower: :sunflower: when will you choose testers? also, would it be okay if i make it less cropped? i will still make it cropped, just slightly less short.

I used about 3/4 of a skein of bernat baby sport yarn with a 4.5mm hook. I think that is about 6oz. As for time, I was able to design it in 5 days and that includes taking photos and restarting a few times on certain parts. I’d estimate that this would take me maybe 6 hours but I’m not sure
