I would probably use a 5 or 5.5 mm hook and some Bernat blanket yarn. Your pictures look like you used thicker yarn for the dumpster than the fire if it requires two size yarns the fire part would be Joann’s regular acrylic yarn and a 4mm hook probably.

No, I just used acrylic for the fire (technically a little thinner than the plush but I used the same hook)

I would love to test! I would probably use worsted weight yarn and a 4.5-5 hook. I have a variety pack of cotton yarn, so I would use some of the colors from that (I don’t know exact color names, but I want to get as close to your pattern colors as I can) (this is my pink emoji)

I’ll use a worsted weight yarn in periwinkle, orange, yellow, and maybe an olive green for the trash in the dumpster. I’d use a 3.5mm to 3.75 mm hook. Possibly 4.25mm if I want it larger.
