[closed] Tester call for Crochet: Moon Wall Decor

Read the entire post before applying and do all requirements, or you will not be chosen.

Hi everyone! I need testers for my moon wall decor!

:moon: This is a confident beginner pattern. The most complicated bit is stringing everything together. You can use beads if you’d like, or you can choose to leave them off and simply leave gaps in the string holding the pieces together. I’ll leave it up to you.

:stars: Due date is March 28th. Do not apply if you can’t meet the time please. I’ll be picking 6-8 testers in a day or two, depending on how many apply.

:moon: No ghosting or aborting with no reason! If you need to quit, just tell me. I’ll be checking in occasionally. Ghosts will be removed and likely will be blocked from future tests.

:stars: There are no yarn requirements. Feel free to use whatever yarn and whatever colors you prefer. As long as you stick with the pattern. I used a cross between glow/ variegated yarn for the light side and black/variegated for the dark side. These were both thin yarns so I used 3.75mm hook and it came out to roughly 6 inches tall. The rounds get large, but there are not many so this does not take very long to build.

:moon: If you’re new to ribblr or don’t have any makes, feel free to show photos of your favorite makes below to show off your skills

:stars: If you’ve read all this, put your yarn type and hook size in the comments a long with a star emoji

I’d love to test this with either light weight cotton yarn and a 2.5mm hook or medium weight chenille yarn and a 3.5mm hook.

:star: Ooh I would use a sparkly white chenille yarn for the moon, a non sparkly teal velvet yarn for the background, and yellow chenille yarn for the stars. :star:
