I need testers for my Mushroom Sprite - Crochet ePattern

Due Date: January 1st 2025, (But With the Holiday season, I am going to be pretty flexible.)

Additional Requirements:

  1. All testers will need to make both versions of the hats, and provide measurements for their sprites and the hats.
  2. I’m not going to require a group chat, but if you can update me as you go/when you plan to start working on the pattern, I’d appreciate it. Please provide detailed information if you run into any issues.
  3. If you apply to be a tester, you are okay with me adding images of your sprite to the final page of my PDF pattern/Instagram under Tester Appreciation.

I need at least one person to test each of the following:

  1. Acrylic yarn with a 3.5mm hook
  2. Size 5 Bulky Yarn with a 4.0mm hook
  3. Size 5 Bulky Yarn with a 5.0mm hook
  4. A Sprite with Fur Lining the edge of the hat

Please comment below which one of these you’d be able to work with. I’m going to try to get 8-10 testers.

You can base your sprites off of actual mushrooms, or just go with the flow. I’m not going to be picky about any of it so long as the requirements above are met.

All testers that complete the testing will get the pattern as a gift, and if wanted, I’ll email you the PDF of it too. They will also all be featured on my Instagram in a Tester Appreciation post!

I could test with acrylic yarn and a 3.5mm hook. I could also add a fur lining. :mushroom:

If chosen I can do the acrylic with a 3.5mm hook, are there any particular colours you want used? I have lots of rainbow yarn to use up :grin:

i would love to apply (with bulky yarn and 4 mm hook) but i’d appreciate more photos! like to show what you mean with ‘both versions of the hat’ :)

This is super cute! Do you have pictures of the hats? I am tempted to apply but id have an easier time knowing if i could reach the deadline seeing all the parts required.

I got lots of variegated acrylic yarn and some sparkle yarn I can test with this. Will use the 3.5mm hook if chosen.

I can test acrylic with the 3.5mm hook! If not I’ve got tons of bernat blanket yarn I can use for testing. I somehow don’t have size 5 bulky yarn but I do have size 6 super bulky as well as tons of size 4!:)
