I need testers for my No-Sew Pie Hotpad - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: Oct 20th
Additional Requirements:

  • To apply, please comment the size of hotpad you would like to make: small, medium, or large
  • Please update your journal with at least one good photo of the final product
  • Communicate in the tester group chat if you are having any trouble with the pattern or have any comments, questions, or concerns

I’ll hopefully be picking testers over the next few days (depending on how many people apply).

This is my first time trying the size feature, so hopefully everything goes smoothly! The bobble stitches are adorable (but a tad tedious :sweat_smile:) so let me know if you need extra time for testing! I don’t mind giving extensions, but please just communicate.

This pattern makes a functional hotpad and is available in three different sizes: small, medium, and large, which are about 8", 10", and 12" in diameter, respectively. The pattern uses two colours of cotton yarn to make it functional (you can use acrylic or another yarn type if it will be purely decorative). You’ll need approx. 50g, 65g, or 80g of each colour depending on the size you choose. You can use whatever colours you like; I personally have done cherry and blueberry, and both turn out great!

This pattern is no-sew since that is my preference, but if you’d rather sew, the pattern is flexible so you can leave the lattice pieces to the end and sew them after if you’d prefer!

I’m hoping to have each size tested, so please comment the size you’d like to try. So far, I’ve gifted the medium and large sizes, and the recipients loved them!

I would love to test! I’d probably make size medium with red/ blue for the center and tan for the crust! I actually had this on my market prep list so it’s awesome you have it as a pattern!!! Not sure what hook size yet XD

If I was selected to test this pattern I would probably make one with a red filling or blue filling and am happy to test ehichrver size u need

This is adorable! I’d love to test! Any size is fine, but was thinking large. I’d also prefer to use blue filling, but can get a different color if needed. :heart::pie:

This looks great! I would love to test any size for you–whichever you need tested. My preference would be either the medium or large size. I would use cotton yarn so it would be functional.

Question, is hotpad for putting hot pots ect on or is it like a heating pad, like putting rice in it, pop it in the microwave and use on sore muscles?
