This pattern can be either a simple stuffed mouse or a puzzle toy for cats with a removable tail piece.
I need 4 testers for both versions (you can test both if desired). After you apply, please comment below if you want to test the stuffie, puzzle toy, or both. Testers will be chosen by Dec 30th at the latest.
Please only apply if you have time to finish by the due date. If you haven’t tested for me before, to increase your odds of being chosen for testing apply then comment or PM with a pic of the yarn you will use.
About 2 1/2" long, not counting tail. No-sew as usual. Designed in worsted weight cotton with 3.5 mm hook, but use any yarn and colors you like. I love seeing testers’ creative choices! Takes about an hour to stitch up.
Journal with at least one pic of finished project(s) is due by 11:59 pm on January 7th, 2023. Testers will be gifted the pattern upon completion.
I appreciate your time and honest feedback, thanks for considering testing for me!
I’m steadily adding my extensive catalog of original designs to Ribblr and I’m creating new ones all the time! If you don’t see one you like, suggest it to me! Follow for more testing opportunities and frequent giveaways.
Here’s a pic showing the back of the puzzle toy version. I sell all my tiny designs as cat toys at a local shop and they sell all I can make! These are becoming quite popular. Perfect for craft fairs where items for cats are sadly underrepresented.
Omg, so cute! I dont have a cat but I would love to test the cat toy version, because I think my dog would absolutely love it! Probably use a chunkier yarn, maybe like a 5, so its a littke bigger for him to play with better.
I would like to test the enrichment toy version i have four cats and i think they would love it! The yarn i would use would be acrylic yarn. Also let me just say i love the name pocket prey thats just too cute.
I’d love to test the puzzle one! I can also test the stuffie if you’d like I don’t have my hands on my yarn stash right now but I’m thinking white body with pink ears/nose/eyes/tail
Thank you @Mossypaws, it took me a while to come up with the name! My first draft was Murder Mouse which I liked but felt might be a little off-putting to customers or the local shop where I sell.
Testing applications are now closed, thank you all for applying! Approved testers will have received a group PM. @trust_level_4 please close topic, thanks!
