I will say - It takes awhile and a lot of yarn! And you 100% want to sew the feet to the body or it looks insanely cursed hahah
Eeek! I’ve been wanting to make a Pokeball! I would use thin chenille yarn with a 2.0 or 2.5mm hook. 
I’d love to test this 
But I don’t any red yarn atm! I don’t even know how that’s possible 
Would you be open to a Friend Ball variant?
I’d use 8ply acrylic yarn and a 3mm hook, and I have red and yellow embroidery floss.
