[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Powder the Blueberry Cat

Hi everyone, I’m looking for 4 testers for Powder the Blueberry Cat.
It’s pretty easy, almost, only basic stitches. It involves sewing and color changes.
I’ll also be choosing 4 testers for the PDF on my instagram (@fruityplushie).

Due Date: December 29th

Materials:

  • Super bulky yarn (size 6) in cream, light blue, dark blue, light green & pink | Requires around 60g for the body’s colour and 50g for the clothes
  • Fine yarn (8/4) for details (blue)
  • 5mm and 4mm crochet hooks
  • 20mm safety eyes
  • Stuffing, yarn needle, scissors, and a stitch marker

Additional Requirements:
:blueberries: Please only apply if you can complete it by the date.
:blueberries: You can use the yarn color you like but don’t alter the design. Chenille yarn users will be prioritized.
:blueberries: I would like a nice picture of the finished product (square format or that could fit into a square).
:blueberries: Helping me promote the pattern (on instagram) the day of the release would be appreciated but not mandatory.

I’ll be making pattern tester calls regularly so if you didn’t get chosen, please don’t be discouraged, I’m going to try to chose new people often. I always try to pick people that applied on a previous test but didn’t get picked :smiling_face:

This is so adorablee!! I would love to test!! I would use plush yarn in the same colors as you!
Edit: I might not have enough plush yarn in those colors, if its okay I would like to use acrylic yarn.

Do you know how many yards of yarn the body needs?
I might not have enough for the body in plush yarn

I used 60% of my 120m skein so I assume that would be about 80yard ish but I’m not too familiar with yards.
Also, instagram is having issues I think? So my scheduled post is not out yet :/

120m is 131 yards, I do not think I have enough sorry.
I can use acrylic yarn if that’s okay.

Oh yes but 60% of 130 yards should be around 80, but no worries!

Id like to use worsted weight, 4mm and 3.5mm hook, 14mm eyes.

Oh My God! This is SO cute! I’d love the opportunity to test this, BUT I’d test it with Ricorumi Nilli Nilli yarn. It’s the really light chenille yarn. Let me know if that sounds good for you! If you prefer size 6 yarn, I’ll sadly have to pass. December is already expensive enough :woozy_face::joy:
