I need testers for my Seashell Square - Crochet ePattern
This is a relatively small and simple granny square, measuring approximately 12cm x 12cm when made with a 4mm hook and DK yarn. It is the second in a series of beach-themed squares, featuring different techniques and sizes, that will be combined into a blanket. Since the finished blanket will include six of these squares in various colours, the pattern provides six different colourways.
This square can also be repeated and combined to create tote bags, cushion covers, and more. It will also be part of a set of four small beach-themed squares used to make the small cushion shown above. The ice cream square pattern has already been tested and is available in my store, and the other two squares for the cushion will be coming soon.
Due Date: 1st September
Skill Level: I have assigned an advanced-beginner skill level to this pattern. You should be able to read patterns written in English and be comfortable working in rounds. Additionally, familiarity with standard crochet stitches, from single crochet to treble crochet (US terminology), is required.
Additional Requirements
-
You can use any yarn and the appropriate hook size, and experiment with different colours. However, please avoid novelty or plush yarns. I would greatly appreciate feedback on the yarn/hook used and the finished size of your square.
-
You must be willing to provide feedback on any parts of the pattern that are unclear or if you spot any errors / typos
-
A journal entry of the finished item would be amazing, but not required - however, I would love to see a photo of your finished square.
Below are the approximate yardages used for colourway 1
