I need testers for my Spiral Octopus - Crochet ePattern

please read everything

This is an intermediate level pattern that requires color changes in a MR and foundation stitches. Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc, fdc. Finished piece is 17 inches tall and 20 inches wide with weight 4 yarn and a 4mm hook.

Due Date: 2026-02-25T05:00:00Z

Additional Requirements:

  • 3 colors in any weight yarn
  • Hook size depends on the weight you choose/what you are comfortable with
  • Provide feedback in group chat
  • Upload a finished photo to your journal
  • comment with what colors you’d use and a :octopus: to show you’ve read everything

I have been waiting to test one of these out. I’m scared I will mess it up because it looks tricky but I really want to try if you let me. I will definitely do my best. You are familiar with my work and the skirt on my ballerina girl. The yarn calls for 5mm so that’s what I will use. I might try a 4mm to tighten it up if it looks better.:octopus:

My own creation. I used Stitch Fiddle to plan out CAUTION…I had a purse base and handles I ordered off of Temu. I love doing twisted DC, so that’s what I did for the black…ended up lining it with sunflower fabric.
