I would use Chenille or any Chunky yarn i have in my yarn stash 
My hook size would be 6mm!!!
And since this looks relatively easy i could make multiple in different types of yarn for you!

Hi! I am a newer tester (not new to crochet) but ive done a few things. I would make it with a 4mm hook, 4 (worsted) yarn, in whatever color is needed.

Ok sounds good! You can use any colour you want, I don’t mind they look better when they’re all different anyway!

Hi! I just finished, pattern was easy to follow and perfect if you want a smaller stress ball! It’s quiet and great for school or work!

Since you’ve chosen the testers you should close the tester call. You can add [CLOSED] at the end of the title or tag the Leaders
